Weekend in Cotswolds Part 1
Kaze and Airio Pro backpack
The Cotswolds had been on our weekend list for ages, and we finally packed up our Kaze Backpack and Airio Pro Backpack for a proper countryside escape.
Our first stop. Diddly Squat Farm, Jeremy Clarkson’s iconic farm shop from Clarkson’s Farm. Pulling up, we were immediately greeted by rows and ques of parked cars including a few nice sports cars that looked a bit out of place against the rolling hills. The farm shop was buzzing, full of visitors snapping photos and filling their baskets with local honey, milk, and “Bee Juice Bites’’.
The Kaze Backpack really came in handy here, compact enough to sling over the shoulder but roomy enough to stash the farm’s goodies (and trust us, we left with a lot of goodies).
From there, we drove over to Burton-on-the-Water, often called the "Venice of the Cotswolds," and wandered along the river Windrush. Little stone bridges, cozy tea rooms, and a classic Cotswold pub lunch made it the perfect slow afternoon. The Airio Pro Backpack was perfect for this leg, its sleek design meant it didn’t look too “touristy,” and it had plenty of space for our camera gear and a few picnic snacks.
We ended the day with a walk through Cirencester’s market square before checking into our little countryside inn for the night. A pint by the fireplace and locally-sourced dinner wrapped up the day just right.
Takeaways.
Countryside escapes don’t have to mean roughing it. With a good backpack, you can carry everything you need, from farm shop finds to camera gear, without sacrificing style.
